Just buying some more of these and note that there ase several specs IE: 94W and 89W
My current set are 94w and I see one of the suppliers offer 2 x W nos ???
Hi Clive
The W represents the speed rating, best to check but I think W & Y are rated to above 151 Mph.
The 89 & 94 represent the load rating, not sure what these actually equate to. But wouldn’t think it’s too big an issue on something the weight of an S1, maybe something to consider if you had a GT3 or the like.
Camskill are worth a shot (01946 518201), got a set last week for 430 delivered. (Fronts 84W, rears 94W)
Website is a bit of a PITA,so best to log on then give them a call and they will talk you through the process.
By the way all this is from the other half, so blame him if its wrong.
Yvonne
Load rating probably equates to sidewall stiffness which may effect handling.
I understand Yoko 48 Ms have softer rubber and harder sidewalls and LTSs harder rubber and softer sidewalls (if I recall Mr Edwardz jr correctly). From people’s comments there can’t be masses in it though.

Hi Yvonne nice to meet you @ Doni…Glad you enjoyed the Exige “Family”
I dont really think there is much in it as far as the tyre ratings are concerned so going for whatever Camskills have got.
Hope to see you soon
Clive
I just bought some 888s for the front for 107 pounds each fitted.
Only tried them on the road so far but they seem OK
