Townsend Bell and the Rocket Pig

So I went for a little shake down cruise in the twisties and came to stop at the overlook on Mulholland 's Snake to shoot the brezze with some of my biker buddies.

After a while i see an Evora and a couple of pickups pull in to do a photo shoot. It turns out it was Townsend Bell who is driving the Evora for Alex Job Racing along with a few peeps from Wheel Pros…

I met Townsend a few years back when he was doing a show on Speedvision with Taner Foust doing a driver / car shoot out with the Sector 111 Exige vs Porsche and Ferrari. He saw my car and instantly asked if he could take it for a drive so I tossed him the keys and told him to keep it below 8,000 rpm and let me know what he thought when he got back up to the look out…

So he runs down the snake and back up with a shit eating grin on his face… The first thing he says when he gets out is that it was the fastest car he’s ever driven and compared the acceleration with an F1 car, he then said he wished my engine was in his Lotus GTE race car that he will be driving in the American Le Mans Series

Expect to see the rocket pig photos in a few places soon… http://driftfotos.com/

So now I may get some free passes to the race at Long Beach…

Frank an excellent validation of all your hard work, I’m sure you can be very proud.

Love the long distance views showing the full width of the wing and the photo with Townsend leaning over it gives a reference to how high it sits.

Great shots of the car, but, I’m sure I’ve seen that 'tash on a German postman in a 70’s ‘specialist interest’ film

Frank, Great shots, your car is truly a work of art & engineering

I notice you don’t mention his tash!
