Toe link kit

I’ve come from owning an Elise S1.

Is it as important to fit an S2 Exige with a ’ Toe Link Kit ’ if the car will do a few track days each year ?

If so, can anyone recommend where to go to get the job done ?

Cheers

I’d also like to ask if a toe link kit is good practise on an S2 Exige. If so, who sells one?

Weird I have been thinking the same, who sells them? Most places seem to do them for S1’s not even mentioning S2’s

Sector 111 and Lotus…I have the Lotus Motor Sport brace on my car only because the Sector brace wasn’t out at the time…I have also gone through 3 sets of rear toe link ends in 1.5 yrs…all replaced under warrantee, still a pain in the ass…now you’ll never need the brace on the street

I have also gone through 3 sets of rear toe link ends in 1.5 yrs…

Toooooo many burgers!

…plants grow, cattle eat plants to grow, I eat steaks from cattle which are just a vegetable byproduct to grow, therefore I am a vegan… I just drive my veggie hauler through the twisties…

do I take it then that the result of the british jury judging by the response is that an upgrade is not needed on the Exige S2 and no-one has had a problem…

I’m still not sure either!!!
But I was thinking it might be a yes

If you’re into regular trackdays, I would recommend the fitting of uprated rear toe-links - I have seen a broken standard one at the old Anglesey Circuit (albeit on a factory car, which was being thrashed all day long).

I do maybe four track days a year and as I said three sets of rear toe rod ends so far…so it’s not just track junkies that put loads on the cars but abnormal canyon guys like myself

Interesting read, it says the “S” comes with the production line one as standard, I must admit I have not seen it, should it be obvious? or will it just look like part of the car?

Look through the rear wheel arch along the space between the boot & the sub frame/chassis. The bar runs between the locatinig points linking the rear mounting point for the lower(?) wishbones.
