I might be interested but I have to wait until I get paid at the end of the month.

Yes, I’m definitely interested. I’ll get plans or b&c to fit them when I get the oil changed and the geometry done after my track day.

David - have you followed the discussion on SELOC regarding this kit, there was some debate regarding the tubing used?

I can’t remember the details otherwise I’d post them!

Lotus offer two versions AFAIK. The sport job for 450 approx (as you’ve said), & a ‘standard fit’ production line version for about 300.

I’m (very) reliably informed the Lotus sport one is “a nice piece of kit”

I have not seen any thing good about the lotus one.

due to the rod ends which have a high density plastic liner which snaps and fails.

the sector 111 They’re rated to 4100lbs per heim and are from Aurora. We believe they’re overbuilt and should have a good life expectancy. Our replacement heims will be reasonably priced as well.

OK i am going to order 1 tonight it still looks the best design imho.

pm me to add to the order as post is expensive just for one but if i get two post is 36 each

ofcourse there will be duty and vat to pay etc.

I est about 370 all in inc VAT duty post etc.

Cheers

Did you get my pm? My indox says I have 1 mail but I can’t see any in the list and my sent items is completely empty!!!

I’ve got one of these on my car. What I would say is that the toe link rods themselves are fabricated, not machined like the Lotus ones. This means that they aren’t perfectly centred and as you adjust the length they move up and down. What attracted me was the additional bracing in the middle of the chassis instead of just directly end to end like the most recent lotus one.

But which Lotus one? there’s a difference between the two available.

From the pic you’ve posted the build quality doesn’t look too great around the welds.

Let us know how you get on. I plan this as my next mod

its a proven design now in the USA though.

look at elise talk and see how many people have crashed with broken toe links.

this has been tested for a long time now and just look like it works.

I’ve started the topic on Seloc after a friend of mine was near to death for the failure of the toe link in his 111S S2.
Now he’s alive but the car needs 10.000 euros of work on clams to get good.
For Lotus cars the problem doesn’t exist (but them will be glad to get from you 450 pound for the opatch kit).

I’m ready to order too but i’m in Italy so i’ve to do a different order and pay 499 dollars + 100 shipment +20% vat +4% duty.
