I have not seen any thing good about the lotus one.
due to the rod ends which have a high density plastic liner which snaps and fails.
the sector 111 They’re rated to 4100lbs per heim and are from Aurora. We believe they’re overbuilt and should have a good life expectancy. Our replacement heims will be reasonably priced as well.
I’ve got one of these on my car. What I would say is that the toe link rods themselves are fabricated, not machined like the Lotus ones. This means that they aren’t perfectly centred and as you adjust the length they move up and down. What attracted me was the additional bracing in the middle of the chassis instead of just directly end to end like the most recent lotus one.
I’ve started the topic on Seloc after a friend of mine was near to death for the failure of the toe link in his 111S S2.
Now he’s alive but the car needs 10.000 euros of work on clams to get good.
For Lotus cars the problem doesn’t exist (but them will be glad to get from you 450 pound for the opatch kit).
I’m ready to order too but i’m in Italy so i’ve to do a different order and pay 499 dollars + 100 shipment +20% vat +4% duty.
