Time Attack Round 1, 5th May, Cadwell Park

Evening chaps,

Just to say that if anyone is at a loose end next Saturday, 5th May, the first round of the 2012 Time Attack series takes place at Cadwell Park. I’ll also be testing there the day before if anyone fancies some laps out in the car.

I would of course greatly appreciate some support, but apart from that there will be some really serious bits of kit out on track and available to have a close look at. This is expected to be the best year yet for the series and I don’t think any petrolhead would be dissapointed.

There will also be some proper racing (Civics), some drifting and the usual dusting of young ladies not wearing much. Just perfect!!!

If anyone makes it please come and say hello. I’m Jamie and I’ll be in the white S1 Exige. There are also a couple of vx’s taking part which look to be nicely prepared.

Cadwell is a great place. Long way from down South though.

The engine still hasn’t run yet and the car is still in lots of pieces and its being mapped on monday. Fingers crossed I can finish it in time.

Full report later but I actually came 1st in class. What you’re seeing is that I would have come 2nd overall including the pro and pro extreme classes who were on full race slicks, inters and wets. I was on road legal tyres

I went over on Friday where Jamie was having a test/trackday.

The car looks awesome, and being half-way through my own rebuild I know how much work has gone into his car. Great effort.

I managed to sign on as a passenger and get a session out with Scuffers driving…all I can say is wow!

I’ve never been in another Lotus that is so violent :smiley: its just relentless, and so much grip. Awesome.

Not a good experience for my wallet though :wink:
