Imagine my surprise when my Classic Car Weekly dropped on the mat this morning - pic of Thommo’s Exige on the front page!
CCW has done a decent 2 page spread on the S1 Exige and apart from a few ‘minor’ errors it’s all good.
Values seem about right? too.

Yes Thommo it’s your, I bought a copy last night but the piccy is to big to post. It’s only on the front page, they use another car for the article.

Nice write up… but WHEN will the bloody journo’s stop reeling out the same BS, year after year, about the ‘highly stressed’ VHPD engine that will go bang!
And what’s this about the Exige having MMC disks! And as for ‘Supercharging’ it (the K!).
I had the pleasure of owning 2 of these amazing cars… one of which would now be in that £60k price point!! (yes, do I regret selling… 
). But the one thing that brings true Exige (particularly S1) owners together is the concept, as Pesky described, of ‘Exigeerness’!.. if you have that, and the car, then automotive life is pretty perfect!
I said to my other half 3 years ago, they will be worth £100k in 10 years… Simon E is correct… they are a great ‘pension’!
Me too Pete just glad I managed to get another last year which is tucked up in the garage.
And fittingly, Shrek was originally Laser Blue mate! So you still have his chameleon!
