Thommo gets on his bike for charity

I hope this is not out of place but I’d like to use the power of exiges.com to raise some cash for a deserving charity.
I am riding the 140-mile Coast to Coast cycleway from Workington to Tynemouth next month with three friends in an effort to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. The idea of riding the C2C came from a friend who has close personal experience of the misery and heartache which is caused by the disease and that is why I am joining with him to try to raise money to find a cure.

I hope you can give me your support in two ways:
1, By making a donation through the Just Giving link - http://www.justgiving.com/Stephen-Thompson7
2, By forwarding this message and link to your friends and colleagues
Thanks,
Thommo

PS: Even if you don’t feel like giving any dosh, just take a look at the website: there’s a very tasty Daily
Sport-esque picture to cheer you all up.

Extrovert!

Raise some big money by sticking your head up your ****

Ah, Mr P, I’d forgotten I’d sent an email to you. Many thanks for posting on my behalf. I used to be shy until you outed me!
Going to practice sticking my head up my **** for next year’s challenge!!!

Will get round to it in the week Thommo, good work!

Thanks,Jonny,
I really appreciate any donations. It’s going pretty well and between the four of us we look like we’ll raise a substantial amount.

Done

Is that your bike, because it looks “F$%^&G ACE”!

Good Luck Steve :sunglasses:

Thanks Jonny, a man of your word. Sadly, that’s not my bike, although I’d love one. It’s Chris Boardman’s Olympic gold-medal winner.
My machine is more modest. And it’s all steel not a bit of carbon in sight!

Yep, that’s about right!

Lol Shame…But please dont do it on that :astonished: ^^^^^

Just a note:
I’ve replaced the Lotus bike on my JustGiving page(www.justgiving/Stephen-Thompson7) with the original pic: NAKED FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS ON BIKES.
I hope it encourages you to dip in and chip in

Please take another look . . .thanks, especially to those who have already donated.

Right, chaps, mission accomplished. C2C, done and dusted… Not without some pain ( I fell off my bike and bruised my arse) but we arrived at Tynemouth yesterday (May 6). My charity total is just short of 800 so a few more quid would see me there. Thanks to those on here who have contributed, some of whom I have never met, but it just shows what a great bunch of generous folk we have on here. Still time to top up ther coffers.
Thanks again, guys!

Well done Steve:cool:

Thanks, Rob. It was great fun with three great pals. As it stands, we look like we may have raised around 2000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Thanks again to you and others who have contributed.

Spot on Steve and its for a good cause. Did you get gravel rash?

Well done Steve thats great news…can’t think of any arse jokes right now, maybe you could post a good old fashioned Sport Headline lol?

Congratulations Thommo, you’re through the 800 barrier

Well, thank goodness I didn’t go completely “Arse Over Tits” but it was a close run thing. Many thanks Andrew for tipping me over the 800.
Just going to get Mrs Thommo to examine my war wound for evidence of gravel
rash . . .

Well done matey.

Well done Steve
(sorry missed thread but I guess I can still donate?)
