Just collected the car from the main dealer following my annual service - all in all a none to painful experience, but was stunned by the quote for them to replace my front discs and pads (AP 308 drilled discs / RS14 pads)…just over £1,800!!! 
I passed on that offer!

Discs with bolt kit will be £484.95 (grooved) or £522.95 (drilled)
RS14 4pot pads will be £178.75 all plus vat.
So parts will be in the region of £795-842inc vat, then a little for labour if you cant/don’t want to do it yourself…

I did feel like telling them what it could be done for, but what’s the point eh.
Annoyingly my front pads have 70% life left, but the discs have fine cracks all over the place.
At least they spotted things that I already knew about.
Depending on what the cracks are like you might not even need to replace the discs, do you have drilled or grooved?
yeah i’m with Ade. If the cracks are the very fine surface ones, then dont worry about it. They just show that you drive your car properly!!
Yep drilled discs Ade, and I’ve seen worse in terms of cracks so will leave as is for now (helpful as I’m skint!). I’ll post a pic up if I get chance, for your expert opinions 
If the cracks are coming out of the holes then you will need to look to replace them but only when the cracks are quite bad or you intend to use the car on track, mine have got lots of surface cracks but are still quite usable for now, get a couple of pictures up and then you will know
