Thick Post....Brake Pedal

I had no idea you could move it closer (and the clutch but mine is as far as it will go) to the accelerator pedal…durr! Theres me dropping my race boots for trainers because I couldnt reach the accelerator pedal heel and toeing and even in them it was touch and go. Now I just hope it stops bl00dy raining for Tuesday!

Yep!

And another solution I have seen is to ‘glue’/fasten another pedal only, to the left side of the existing accelerator pedal. This keeps the ideal shape but just makes heel and toe so much easier. :sunglasses:

I remember you sitting in mine a couple of years ago and remarking how different the pedal setup was …

Whats happening Tuesday m8?

Well its not every Exige that only has 2 pedals… did you show him where [color:#009900]‘D’ and [color:#FF0000]‘R’ were too?

Thinking of fitting the truck steering wheel … then I can make do with no pedals

lol It’s taken me years to work that out lol

Silverstone mate Tuesday!

On this topic, is there any way of adjusting the height of the pedals?

My brake pedal is a fair bit higher than the throttle, have to be pretty hard on the brakes to get the 2 level to be able to heel’n’toe. I know thats not a problem on track when you’re at 10/10 but sometimes I like to practice when pootling about.

Cheers.

I’m not sure about the accelerator, but the brake pedal can be adjusted. If you have a look within the footwell, there is a screw adjuster with a locking nut behind the brake pedal. Quite straight forward to adjust. If you do adjust, remember to check if the brake lights light up okay - the switch for these can be adjusted too.
