Well, it’s been too long since I updated this.
I think Sean has a crystal ball, I probably will still be working on this at 3am before race day.
With one thing and another (mostly having to work away during the week) I’ve been pretty delayed on the whole project. Here’s a brief summary of what’s been going on…
Took a week off to get the Engine install done - this was itself filled with minor hiccups and trials/tribulations. Finding out we still needed the original Engine loom halfway through the week was probably the biggest headache. Must say thanks to Richard@Blink, MarcP, and Inch for still having a loom for me !

The car was then taken down to Hofmanns for one of Randy’s cages - I actually wanted to get the front sections done too, but that will have to wait for now.
As I was knew I was running short of time I also got them to finish off a ‘few’ bits too. Stuff that ideally I’d like to have done but just wasn’t going to get the time to do.
Also picked up a cracking PRG trailer from AndyD - Thanks bud !
So currently, the car is still down with Randy - getting mapped next week and a power run done at TDi (as required by the new 2008 LOT regs)
It’s looking like the first time I’ll drive it in anger will be at qualifying ! Not ideal by any means, it will be the first time I’ve driven a Honda car properly ! All thoughts of podium finishes and dream races have truly gone (not that I was expecting it, but everyone dreams!) - I’m going to be very happy if the car gets on the start line and even happier if it finishes a race.
