TonyThe CD contains about 43 pages of additional info that the Elise handbook doesn’t have.eg How to take off the front and rear clams, roof removal, front and rear suspension info, wiring diagrams, etc.Don’t get me wrong - it ain’t the be all and end all - but it is handy.I took the front clam off on Tuesday - took 1 hour on my own - glad I did - both wheel arch liners totally worn(although you can see this just by taking off the wheels)but also, one of the hoses from the oil cooler had become trapped between wheel arch liner and what I think is the compressor unit for the a/c. The pipe was half it’s original size and I think could probably have worn through. Also, check your coil pack - mine had almost vibrated off its mount and had rubbed a bloody great grove into one of the cooling hoses. It wasn’t far to go before it went right through!Rear clam coming off next week to see what other nasty surprises are awaiting…

Thanks for the info Mike, and if that’s the case then I’d like to take you up on your kind offer thank you. I’ll email you my details. [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]

Oops! Sorry Mike / Pesky, didn’t realise that the workshop manual included the supplement. Doh! [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/blush.gif[/image]

[image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image])MikeSad old git that I am, I had a practice at putting up my new tent yesterday [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]Although it is dead simple, I’m sure you guys will have plenty of ammo for p*** taking when I have to do it for real in Le Mans [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif[/image]

Pesky,Me too! Bought a new (very small) tent yesterday (we’ll be 2 up in the Exige don’t forget) so not too much room for palatial tentage (unless somebody can find me an ‘Exiger’ luggage rack!). James and I reckon that 15 mins should be more than enough but we’ll see!RegardsMike
