temp change when blower turned on?

Strange thing i saw today… my car runs at a steady 82 deg most of the time… but if i turn on the fan in the car the temp guage shoots up 8 deg or so. Any one else seen this? Not sure why that would happen?

Minor earth problem somewhere. As long as everything still stays stable at either temperature, I wouldn’t worry about it.

so i presume as when the fan is off what the guage reads is true… and then when the fan is on the reading is false?
