On the phone here Dave can’t open that but compare them with Hanger111 or Seloc Tekwiki
They look ok and arent mega heavy (checked the techwiki and all looks ok size wize), just wondered if anyone had an opinion of them.
What do you know its just popped up lol…I had them on last year, good looking wheels but not much lighter.
Same as S1 Rimstock (apart from the lettering) - nice looking wheels, seen them on a number of Elises, but make sure the pcd is correct for your particular car.
Awesome thanks mate. Its not easy knowing which wheels are ok to fit and which are not. Especially as my elise has had just about every option fitted and after market stuff chucked on, not sure what is what anymore on it.
Out of interest have you noticed a difference with your car and the lighter wheels and less unsprung weight ?
You read my mind. Its tricky knowing what is what. I am taking it that my car still has the rover hubs. I have then checked the techwiki but Im not 100% sure of what the stuff means.

One last question. Has anyone on here tried running a wider front or back tyre ? I notice that these rims allow bigger tyres, is that a good thing for track use ?
Sorry guys for asking loads of stuff about an elise wheel on the exiges.com forum but one day I will have an exige again. Promise.

Have I heck! Unless things have a major effect, I can’t tell the difference, cos I’m not into timing, nor am I any sort of driving god. Mods which have made a perceptible difference (apart from engine conversion, then supercharging) are brakes, suspension & wing. For the same reason, I can’t tell any difference between the Yoko 48s & Toyo 888s - apart from cost & bloody front wheel balancing problem with the Yokos.
I got the Speedlines in a swap with Russ for a spare set of standard S1 Rimstocks (he needed the Rimstocks, so I thought why not!).
Pesky, do you know anyone who has run a wider front (215?) on an elise s2 for track day use ? Does it make a difference ?

Has he got any more to swap?
