anyone know what the standard wheels weigh without tyres?
cool thanks
According to that fitment chart mate, they don’t do our sizes.

There’s definitely a thread on wheel weights if you have a search, I did weigh a couple myself to contribute to the thread but don’t seem to have kept a copy of the info! I also think that there was a degree of variance in the weights from several different people…

the offsets are a little different but not a problem as its only 15mm and the exige rear arches will fit them in with ease, wheel width you could go for the 8j or 9j not bad for less than 500 a set though

I did do a search but couldn’t find it either, the 9j wheels are just over 10kg’s and the 8j is 9.5 kg’s which sounds quite heavy the fronts are just over 8kg’s
still not sure whether they suit the exige though
the 9j rears are the same as they use on the wtcc/btcc so they must be strong

Thanks Steve
"@8.5kg = front rimstock without any tyre (but about 100grams of wheel weights & a rubber valve!)
@11kg = rear rimstock without any tyre (but about 20grams of wheel weights & a rubber valve!)
both were weighed with a Salter spring balance rather than the bathroom scales! "
so they are lighter than the rimstocks

I think you will struggle to find any rims heavier than the originals…
I am not so sure on the look of them; i think it’s the lack of that nice deep dished rear that really gives the agressive focused look you get with the original slabs of iron !!!
The Jury is out on this one currently…

Did you take the water tank with you or do I have it here somewhere??!!??
Great stuff Wayne, ta.
When you say water tank, is it the square one which attaches to the bulkhead? If so, you have it. I only took the front rad/cooler assembly.
Cheers
Russ
