Tanker driver Strike

This is strike is going to be a bit of a bummer, (,especially for Anglesey TD) unless the Government can break it with the MOD drivers , I hope so , I have little sympathy for civilian tanker drivers on 45k per annum, or is it just me !!

No, they’re definitely well paid. They get ‘danger’ money for the job but, quite honestly, it’s not that dangerous is it! Their hours are also tightly controlled as well so, plenty of time off. I’m all for a bit of strike breaking.

As you’re ex military, do you get first dibs at tanker driving?

I’m to old and I was Special Forces!! so not trained for tankers , just blowing things like that up  best I keep away

Like gearboxes ???

Eddie Stobart is trying to muscle in on the tanker industry and is trying to pay their drivers just 8 per hour …
They are hell bent on making themselves rich and FOOKING over all others…

Incase you are wondering why the tanker drivers feel threatened .

Shelf stackers can earn more than that.
Is that fair ?

It is a highly skilled job

Thankfully ( touching wood like mad) I’ve never blown a gear box up on any car, yet!!!

In a free trade market, I’m afraid!!! And there’s no such thing as a ‘closed shop’ as the London Tube drivers will find , with introduction of ‘driverless’ Tube trains as on the Docklands Light Railway, and no longer will they be able to hold the capital to ransom

tube driving, must be hard with all that navigating through the tunnels

what? they dont need to steer?

Oh… swap in the 486 PC then

Relax. The fat unhealthy english breakfast eating porn mag waving ungrateful unheigenic knights of the roads have voted against a strike

JFK then

Mates…

Not what I heard this morning

Hmm, according to yesterday’s Times it was off

Maybe not then?

They have voted Yes. May happen over Easter.

Well, if JFK can drive one over to Anglesey for Good Friday that would be good  What with him being a Knight of the Road

It had better be stuffed to the gunnels with jerycans full of superunleaded!

Arise, Sir John

No problemo …
Give me the wagon !

Wonder if Jonny BAT ever needs a driver ??
Or any race teams come to that …

Get yer CV sent off John - if I had a race artic - you’d be my first choice!

Just been out to fill the 160 for a Sunday blast this afternoon and every single pump except for the super u/l is off and the forecourt is completely empty of other cars…

Nice!!!
