Swiss tuner for S2 Exige

Someone made mention of a Swiss tuner that can supercharge the S2’s engine to 265bhp – anyone know their URL?

Thanks.

suppose you mean www.kumschick.com
we call it the rat…

Why do you call it “the rat”?

Also, does anyone have the URL of the German dealer that supplied the RS6-engine powered Elise featured in the 200mph edition of EVO?

Thanks.

The Esthi, Ken Pegg ordered one, but I think is now a dead duck - see here

Yep, that’s the one (thanks) - here’s their web address: http://www.brandes-dschuedow.de/bd_esthi/en/index.html

Now, a few questions:

Why fit this engine into an Elise and not an Exige?

What do y’all, the Exige cognoscenti, think of the Esthi? Specifically, how do you think the RS4 engine compares to the Honda Type R’s or the new Radical V6 as a donor engine?

Thanks.

It’s hard to comment on a car that never really existed. The RS4 engine is certainly much bigger and heavier than the K/Honda/Radical, it needed lots of mods to the car to get it in.

Isn’t the Radical actually a V8? If it was cheaper and proven bombproof, it’d be my choice. Otherwise the Honda, or just tune the K.

Being an addicted EVO reader I seem to remeber that the radical actually was a V8, but with a whole range of power-ouput options.

That ought to be a nice sight, an Exige with a screaming bike-engine V8 in the back revving at 10.000 + rpm …

Now where did I put this winning lottery-ticket so I can go out an buy an extra Exige to try this conversion ???

Yes, it was a V8 (my bad) here’s a link to some blurb on it: http://www.radicalmotorsport.com/news_folder/v8stepsup/indexspec.php

Asides from the expense, it all sounds a little too good to be true. Curious as to how the engine would fare after regular(ish) use and how easily it could be fitted into the Elise (the V8 looks teeny tiny).
