Suspension set up

Hi all, I’ve recently bought the Randy spec nitrons from Will on here, I’ve had them fitted, and now I want the car setting up correctly. Could anybody recommend a place in the north east where I can go? I’m not really clued up on the chassis side of things either, so would you recommend I change the anti-roll bar swell, I just have the O.E one fitted.

Cheers, Craig

No one here is willing to stick their neck out and write about settings it seems … question has been asked many times before :frowning:

depends on your useand needs, some people like a firm roll free car and run it on track a lot (Me) and other like a softer car with more roll and compliance on the road (Boothy  )
So the question is what would you likeyour car to be like? And what do you plan on using it for?

If it was, I’d go to corneringforce in harrogate. They will sort you out with front and rear arbs that will work in harmony with your suspension. They can data log your car, and even test th settings on the local test track to you are happy with the results. They will even give their opinion of the randy nitrons

You sure you want to send him there then? :astonished:

Ade, I do like a roll free car on track but imho my nitrons were the best part of dangerous on the road, I am pretty sure you can get alot less roll without the car bouncing, banging and skipping all over the shop, it did not even feel that nice on track twas very twitchy. My new Nitron set up is much nicer

:grin:Cheers for the links guys, I hardly use the car on road, and want to start doing a lot more track days, so i would prefer a more track focused set up. Where did you go for your set up boothy?

Boothy went direct to Nitron and spent the day there getting his desired setup just right
