I run Quantums (single adjustment) on mine - they are excellent. However, my experience is limited to these and a tired set of OE Billies, so can’t make any worthwhile comparisons unfortunately.
I run mostly on road with the very occasional track day.
I switched from Nitrons to Quantums. No more stuck adjusters, more droop, good support during rebuild and performance on track is very good. Looking forward to switch to a higher class quantums in the future (single adjusting now)
During last rebuild we chatted a bit about my use and we upped internals up front a bit to give it a try. Great to have some sparring with people that supported racing series and still support proper racing teams.
Rebuild every 3-5 of years at around 800 gbp or something. i do street driving as well but no winters/salt
3 loads of Nitrons (different cars over the years) and never had a problem with the adjusters either? They’ve been great! Current Nitrons are the ones fitted to my car by Lotus Motorsport when new (V6 Cup) and they seem great
