Supercharging s2 exige

Hi there looking for some info on supercharging my exige s2 1.8 toyota engine car. i have the Eaton m62 supercharger but nothing else as of yet.

what parts do i need and where would be the best place to get hold of these parts.

ideas welcomed, thanks in advance David [email protected]

How do you propose remapping the ECU, or are you replacing it?

If all you have is the supercharger you’ve got a long way to go. It has taken tuners ages to get their kits together, and as Pesky suggests provide a solution for mapping or replacing the ECU.

I suggest that you try to read up on the kits that are already available.

Komotec Turbo Drive from Hangar 111
Toyota Kit from Silvertone Performance
Lotus Kit probably best sourced through Plans Motorsport
Sector 111 (Frank’s kit) from Sinclairs
Bemani from Switzerland.

Of these I think only the Lotus and Sector 11 kits use the MP62.

a quick way to do it (tried and tested) is:

  1. go to dealer
  2. part-ex normal S2 for S2 S
  3. job done

Sell your MP62 and buy a proper kit that has some test miles on it…For the money the least expensive kit would be from Sector 111 it offers a retuned stock Lotus ECU and will soon be end user tunable so I hear…or you can just install the Lotus bits from the S and add the ECU from Sector 111 for tuning…There is a great deal of info on Elise Talk.com once you weed through the crap…
