Supercharged Toyota

Anyone got any advice on getting more from the supercharged Toyota ?

220 S as the base model rather than the 240 R

from what I have seen on this forum , it all seems to stop when you get to the ECU !

Any guidance greatfully recieved.

Have you considered some on track driver training? Unless you’ve been there, it’s surprising what the cars are capable of - oh, for the skills of Gav Kershaw, Matt Becker, & a few of the esteemed members on this forum (you know who you are!)

Two years racing Caterhams, I get by , although a bit rusty, the time with Mark Hales was well spent at Silverstone, and certainly knocked some of the rust off.

what I am really after is more bhp & lbft for the nest trip to the Nurburgring where the handling shines , but the get up and go is left wanting.

How much you after?

I’m no expert, but from what I read here I doubt there’s much more left in the std set-up without a different charger or engine swap.

Rich - fair play, but it’d still be worth getting instruction from an “exige” expert, preferably a factory bod such as Gav, Matt or Alastair McQueen.

Also, you could take to car to Plans Motorsport & let Graham & his team make sure it is set up properly, & then take it out on the adjacent “Top Gear” track.

Best of luck, & please keep us posted of your progress

you need to have them hosted on a site like photobucket and then use the Instant UBB Code “Image” toggle to insert the link…sounds harder than it actually is…

simplest way to get pictures on line is to use Image Shack
