suggestions for a new steering wheel

hi folks
looking to swop out my standard, i think none airbag, steering wheel off my 06 na exige for something a little more comfortable and grippy.
i have xl sized hands and also find when “pushing” on track get the sweaty palm effect (nice!!) so looking for a broader rimmed, suede type wheel.

not to bothered if it is removable as car is garaged if im not in it! but guess its an extra security feature if prices are similar.

is it an easy enough DIY job to swop them out? presume i’ll need a Boss to fit it to, again any pointers much appriciated.

and no i dont want a CF one jonny fox, even though attached to my NA, i presume it will ROCK )

thx

Quite a few on here have either an OMP or a Sparco suede wheel

I’ve got one of these http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Motorsport/Steering_Wheels_Accessories/Steering_Wheels/OMP_Superquadro_Steering_Wheel/1765/0/15911

The other favoured Sparco one is http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Motorsport/Steering_Wheels_Accessories/Steering_Wheels/Sparco_300_Steering_Wheel/1765/0/13816

An yup you’ll need a boss - the Momo one tends to fit fine but you may lose your horn

Ive got a 300mm Momo team (http://www.elise-shop.com/momo-team-steeringwheel-kit-elise-exige-340r-all-models-p-29.html)

And love it, but the top of the wheel does obstruct the speedo a little, im 6ft2 so reckon i should have maybe bought a 330mm but like the small feel and wouldnt change now.

You will need a new boss and is a fairly easy job if your half handy with a spanner, a steering removal tool is well worth while.

If Carlseburg did steering wheels then then would have made the momo team in suede

(I actually hate Carlseburg tho LOL)

…only joking!!

Now that is something else! Does look a little rough - wonder how it would stand up to a crash test?
