Hi!
During the last trackday last year, I almost emptied the fueltank on my exige (the fuel warning light came on). On refilling the car the fuelgauge (or warninglight) did not go back to full (warninglight turning off).
Is there any other likely fault other than the fuelsender being stuck ?
( and the fix being to remove the sender from the tank and fidling with it)
I have tried disconnecting the battery for some time without it changing anything.(more than a few seconds)
BTW I did change my fueltank for the proalloy one before the start of last years season, the fuelgauge was working fine in the new tank until my last trackday.
I have a similar problem on mine, over time the tank seems to magically fill itself but it is odd driving away from the petrol station after paying with what appears to be no fuel!
Ok, over how long time? any idea if it requires the car to be used to allow the fuel gauge to start working again?
I more or less left the car standing after the last trackday in august/september, I then just popped over to the local petrol station and topped the car up before the temperature dropped below 0 C(about a month later). By then there was no change, not even after the last topup.
