Sticking Throttle.....Ere we go again

Hi chaps,

Any ideas why when I change gear the revs stick at 3/4k rpm or even rise instead of dropping as usual.
Its only started doing it the last couple of weeks and only seems to do it once the car has warmed up.

I was wondering whether its heat related and somethings sticking. A lot of you know Ive had issues with dodgy throttle bodies but Ive got a brand new set now and theyve been perfect for 6 months so Im hoping its not them!

Could it be the IACV sticking?

And when I left it ticking over on the drive last night and opened the throttle bodies by hand the revs just didnt seem to fall very quickly at all! So that should eliminate the throttle cable.

Any ideas

Cheers Paul

Check out the wheel speed sensor, & wire connector on the offside rear hub.

See you at Donny this weekend?

Id forgot about that. I’ll take a look tonight. Ive cleaned it before when I first got the car due to the 5.5k limiter I think.

Would that still effect the revs when its stationary though?

Yes I’ll definatley be at Donny one of the days! Looking forward to getting out for a change Been a bit busy with Uni!

Did you have a good one at Le Mans?
