Yours is the first s1 i have ever seen with only cloth seats! i thought the leathe ones where standard? cleary not! I would prefer cloth to leather out of those to options tho!

No leather ones were an optional extra (at �595.00) but I think most cars were spec’d with them, especially if done by the dealer for the showroom rather than directly for a customer.
I had leather seats in my Elise and hated them. I always knew I was going to swap them out anyway, so that was an added reason to get them as standard. An added benefit is that the velour ones had additional padding in over the leather seats and were definitely more comfortable!
