After a check out of my Exige after Anglesey I can detect a bit of play when I waggle the Pax side wheel at 3/9 position. No play if i waggle the wheel at 12/6. I think that means that either the TRE has gone or the rack. No play on the the driver’s side.
A few questions:
Is there an easy way to see if it is the TRE or the rack?
If I need a new rack, is there any advantage in the high ratio rack?
Eliseparts do their own rather than the Titan OEM rack, does anyone have any experience of them?
Titan builds the EliseParts quick rack…I bought one. Looks very OEM-ish. The car is still apart, so I haven’t used it yet…others have reported a great feel/improvement.
I noticed that Titian sell the rebuild kits for “people who know what they are doing”. That’s not me but I am sure Tollbar Racing or Gav at Unit11 fit into that camp. I just need to get the car into the garage so they can sort it. Unfortunately I am travelling for a couple of weeks, California, all work, no play.
