Steering rack options/ suspension re furb

Morning all.

Going to attack the car with a spanner, hammer and duralac over the next few weeks. Full supension refurb is the aim.
The following parts I already have

new droplinks
new TR ends
new rack gaitors ( one has a slight split)
Wishbones cleaned /coated (fitted with new BJ and bushes)
new BJ plinths
Steering arms will be cleaned and POR15’d
Real uprights cleaned and POR15’d
Toe links (check but seem in A1 condition)
Nitron NTRs
New bolts throughout.

As I have got a bit carried away would it be worth ripping the rack out? If so is it worth fitting the bronze cups and secondly a quick pinion gear?

I would do the rack while you are at it, if I were you. They do wear in the areas you have mentioned.

If you do the cups on the steering would be interested to hearing how you get on.

So can anyone shed some light on the bronze cups? are they worth doing or stick to the nylon ones?
