Steam coming from front of car when stopped

I tend to get a lot of steam coming from the car when I stop particularly on wet days. There seems to be no temperature problems.Is this common ?Also who was the Y reg blue exige I blasted up behind on the dual carriageway near Lightwater this morning, I was reaching 120 when you got in the way

S’only water that collects on the top of the radiator, vapourising as the radiator heats it up…Cheers

Yeah, it’s common. Nothing to worry about.The only downside is people at the roadside think you’re overheating and start laughing

No it is the carriageway from Woking to the M3 junction Woking/Bracknell, a superb place to test the car and lose TT’s, Scoobys and Boxsters

Since the evenings are short - I guess it’d have to be at a weekend… Anywhere with a bit of space for a few cars would be handy - I would suggest meeting up on the old runway at Blackbushe (on a Sunday - when the market is on) - the runway is always clear and out of the way of market traffic, but security get the arse if there are too many people hanging around. Any other suggestions for somewhere with a bit of space during the day? Id certainly be up’fer it [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]

Fine by me, might need directions though from Woking. Don’t know anyone nearby but agree we should post this on the meets page
