Dear Guys

In first, I want to thanks the great Emails quantity that I have received trought my email and the forums where you have explained your ideas and support.

I have started the new 2.0k engine project.

Of course, still I do not have the new crank with largest stroke and the new con rods, but I have now all the essential data to know the material to make the block plate, material from and thickness.

Also I now the definitive stroke and con rods length.

Here you can to see several pics with the different parts that I made until moment.

Plate made with CNC, this plate is not skimmed.

Block with the new liners height, this liners is not skimmed.

Interesting way Vicente. I was thinking about this few years ago. Everything mecanicaly better, you’ll also need longer head bolts, longer exhaust manifold…

No, only need a longer exhaust manifold. The head screws, the cambelt, the oil rail, the head gasket, etc are OE without modify.
This is because the oil rail last design offered more rigity than old design.
In addition to arrive here, you need to make the tests and studies reals and virtuals.
