Where might one go about finding the standard black-plastic heater/fan control knobs for the Elise/Exige?
Mine’s got some shiny, chrome ones and they look a little out of place. Also I’ve got an alloy handbrake sleeve and I’m thinking of changing this back to the standard plastic one too.
Any idea where these can be had?
There are plenty of Elise owners that have changed - someone might have the old knobs in a box in the garage.
I think you’ll struggle on the handbrake sleeve, though. I think you need to cut the old one off to fit an alloy one, so all the old ones will all be in the bin.
I seem to recall there’s quite a lot of Peugeot bits on the car (e.g. push buttons).
Std disks are apparently off a Laguna.

yep - push buttons are definitely from Peugeot (205). Don’t now about heater buttons, but you can anodise them in black
vent covers, indicator/whiper lever and side indicators are from Opel/Vauxhall, and you’ll find keys and alarm remotes in Rovers and MGs. I’ve been told that the back plate light is from Rolls Royce (or at least the same Rolls used in some of the models), but this might be a rumour only
I don’t know where the Standard heater controls are, sorry…
The number plate lights on the back of the S1 are indeed courtesy of Rolls Royce!
