Ever since owning the car I have been unable to get a browny/yellow stain off the inside of my door. I bought the car new last sep and have only done 2000 miles. It is really peeing my off as I keep my car including the sills (I know, I know) so clean and tidy it is unreal. I have tried a few products that I know would be safe and it wont budge. seems like a glue or resin?
Tried a clay bar mate, as I use one on my body work when detailing my car. will keep trying but I don’t want to damage any of the surounding paintwork with any abrassives
From someone who also likes to keep his car looking good, I can see your point, but if you hadnt shown us, I am sure we would not have seen it if you asked us to find any imperfections.
Its difficult, but I try to not be too precious about mine, and the stone chips on the front confirm this.
I doubt you would be satisfied with a dealer “blowing it over”, I have a mark on the top of the wing, and the dealer has offered to paint it, but I am just not confident they would
a) mask off properly
b) match colour (mines is Autumn Gold)
c) blend the colour into the rest of the car.

Sorry but I think you should live with it. [/quote]
I know what you are saying about the dealers, I would not be happy letting them loose, it is worse as the car is white clearly!
I have attempted to clean mine between the showers today and have exactly the same problem (Aspen White).
The stain has a ‘lip’ to it if you run your nail over the edge.
It is a glue IMO. I have tried every substance known to detailing, I have been a professional detailer in my time, and nothing shifts except wet-n-dry.
IMO it is a substance from underneath the rubber seals.
