While at Donny on saturday after the refill warning came on i filled the car with a 20 litre jerry can, but is still showing the refill warning any ideas? Did a search on here but couldn’t find anything.

If youre unlucky you may have a sticking float. My Land rover suffers badly with this problem. Chucking it about with a full tank usually around roundabouts unhooks the blighter!

Nothing new here…Mine is seriously unreliable!!
And frequently tells me I’ve got 20 l when its running on fumes…just keep an eye on the mileage, I usually refill @150/200 miles road or 70 track miles.
Hope you enjoyed your day.

Was a cracking day Clive, hope you also enjoyed it? Got a bit scary on the worn R888’s in wet.

Have filled the car and given it some stick on a number of roundabouts with no luck, refill indicator still on.
So my question is can i remove the tank sender without removing the tank? Will have to get myself a manual.
