Whilst doing my Honda cars oil and filter change I noticed a small amount of grease near the filter. Is this from the CV thingy ? If so, is it something to worry about or is it normal ?

if your filter is in the standard place then could be from the inner tripode - The one that sees the most heat from the exhaust - Id check the boot carefully
So they shouldnt leak at all then ? I will check the rubber thing this weekend. Is it an expensive job to replace if required ?
It’s probably the inner tripode… as Andy says check the boot.
Check what kind of boot clip you have on the driveshaft end of the boot - I’ve found that plastic cable ties are better than the steel jobs here as they allow air to escape slightly which would otherwise balloon the boot and cause it to pop.
If it’s just a slight amount of grease I wouldn’t be too concerned, it might just be a bit of excess coming out.
