I’m searching for a pair of original S1 Exige Sports Seats, the ones with the harness holes.
I’d also consider a pair of original seat shells (Exige S1 or 340R type).
Good luck with that! Sport seats and Speedlines are two things that VERY rarely come up for sale.
With it taking me 2-3 years to find the car, I just thought I’d start the next long, if not impossible search! 
Would 340R seats be of interest? Essentially the same as S1 Exige sports seats but only came in blue alcantara trim.

Thanks Dan, I believe the 340R back/headrest trim has a completely different design to that on the Exige? Therefore, I’d imagine it wouldn’t be cost effective to get them re-trimmed to match the original Exige type!

Depending on the deal and what it would cost to trim they would certainly hold value Kevin. I presume a good pair of trimmed S1 seats are North of £2k.

As far as I’m aware the shells for the 340R are the same as the S1 Exige, only the trim patern & material were different, that said with 340R seats costing as much as S1 Exige seats there isn’t much room for the retrim cost
I have a pair of reasonable 340R seats but £1150, trim is good but has the usual problem of the thin covering over the rear coming off
It’s probably not a viable option for me then, with re-trim costs likely being well over a grand, thanks anyway Junks
I’ll keep searching, but will probably end up going down the aftermarket route!
Just to give you an idea, a full retrim at Allon White’s was around £1100-1200 IIRC.
Yes that’s my recollection also. You do end up with seats that look like brand new though: I also opted for the probax upgrade and they’re much comfier as a result

Not a problem John, as I said probably not worth it but you still have to find some original sheels to retrim which won’t be cheap - you can go aftermarket Kevin but they never seem to look as good

I just thought I’d get the search for a pair of OEM Exige seats started. In the meantime I have a garage to build and a nice little car to begin restoring, so there’s no real rush to jump into any compromised options just yet!

I’m pleased to announce that I’m finally the custodian of a pair of Motorsport (sports) seats. Huge thanks to Klaus for literally going the extra mile (to Frankfurt and back!). They arrived in great condition via DHL on Friday afternoon, as expected the quality of Klaus’s packaging was second to none. German packaging/engineering at its finest:
Apparently they were previously installed in an ‘Ultima GT’. Fortunately they still had their original RHD seat runners intact (albeit with slightly distorted mounting brackets on the passenger side, nothing that cant be fixed!)
Test fitted later that evening, with a few expletives along the way…
Well done amazing result!! They barely ever change hands so fantastic that a pair got liberated from an ultima!
