This weekend my car has been running at 92c - 100c in traffic is this normal ? weather was nice though

Keith, Here’s my list of possible causes to overheating. Suggest you eliminate the easier options first.1)Insufficient coolant in the system.2)Thermostat faulty3)Radiator core blockage/grill restricted.4)Radiator electric fans/sensor faulty.5)Engine management system faulty.6)Pressure cap faulty.7)Auxilliary drive belt worn/slipping.8)Ignition Timing incorrect.9)Inaccurate coolant temperature sensor/sender unit.10)Air-lock in the cooling system.hope this helps, good luck with locating and fixing the problem.
