Sorry mate, but couldn’t keep the secret about your new car. For those who are interested, http://www.foxvalleymotorcars.com/mf1/default.html

Mr Admin,I salute you. That is my ultimate dream. Our exchange rates unfortunately do not allow it.Please could you give me a run down on what you think of it, i would really appreciate it.
Holy S***!Im impressed, but I bet the McLaren F1 Bulletin Boards are quieter than the Exige ones [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif[/image]
Fookin’ hell! Is this a wind-up?Have you really bought a Big Mac?If you have, nice one!!! Can’t wait to see this baby on track, or anywhere for that matter - gulp! [ [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]]
David,Sensational! I never thought I’d know someone with an F1. I have only ever seen about 5 of these! Suddenly an Exige doesn’t seem so rare. Well done, I really hope you enjoy it.Mike

Anyway, you ought to know that there are 2 passenger seats either side of the driver, so you need a partner of similar weight to get the balance right [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif[/image]RussT & me have been promised the first ride, & not at an airfield in the UK, but on a PROPER circuit “somewhere in mainland Europe”. DavidWelcome to the “know who your friends are” thread. What you need to do is read all these snivveling grovelling posts and step back, take a deep breath, and tell all the creeps to “**** off”.(In the mean time I’d just like to apologise for making your Skyline passenger mats muddy at Anglesey, compliment you on your amazing driving skill at Bentwaters, and offer my services if there is ever anything I can do for you, slurp slurp slurp)
David, having now seen the Beast in the flesh, I can only say you lucky b*****d. Thanks for promising ME the first ride at a track day. Hope you enjoy it.Russ
Congratulations - My God!It appears to be a F1-GT made road legal like Nick Mason’s. Is this right or is it not road legal?Unbelievably awesome car. Not really too sure what you could upgrade to though!!!
Actually on further investigation it could just have the GT front and rear spoiler. This car is most upsetting for us mere mortals you know!

[image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif[/image] WRT opening it up, as I’m sure you’ll appreciate, at 200 MPH+ dust and grit can easily take your paintwork off, so you need to do it somewhere clean and safe. If you like, I can have a chat with a couple of my contacts and could almost certainly get you into Nardo for a blast if you want to max it out with minimal risk (there’s usually a two year waiting list for Nardo if you go through the normal channels). I can’t wait to hear what you feel like once you’ve cracked 200 MPH - it’s quite an experience, especially the first time. Enjoy! I see that Lancastrian is at it again [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]
So where do you get a “My other car is an Exige” sticker anyway?CJ
