Hi All this is well gash but it is doing the trick for road use…
I took off the number plate and bracket (read Psuedo splitter saver) and stuck on a vinyl one on the nose.
Using 4 new bolts (the others were a tad ‘filed down’) I have fastened two 60mm square 1/2 inch bits of marine ply with the front edge chamfered at 45deg. I countersunk the holes to protect the bolt heads.
I know it’s proper chicken sh1t engineering but its working so far
