In my moving house clear out, I found the details of the guy who who works at Speedline and can supply a full new set of those great wheels.
His name is David Williams and he tells a great story how the S1 Exige was to have originally been equipped with the wheel instead of the much heavier Rimstock. The stopper was that they were much more expensive!!!
The rear ‘ET’ is not quite the same as the Rimstock, but caused no handling probs when Lotus tested the wheel. Martin E says he cannot tell the diff either!!!
I am sure he wont mind me posting this as after all I am sure they would like to sell their remaining sets! He offered me a ‘deal’ that was quite a bit cheaper than the list price!

What was this “deal” then? Ive had 2 sets off him over the last 2 years and called for a 3rd set and still no discount. They have never stopped making them, they just do about 10 sets a year.
think this price is because the fronts have some small dirt inclusions in the paint but nothing structurally wrong. Mine were at this price and have been as good as gold.
Big fat ding here. I’d quite like to find something before the October LOT day/ET weekend… but it remains an option if I dont find something beforehand.
