hi can the s2 exige get over most speed bumps? what is the best technique for going over them except for the obvious go over them really slow?
also can the car park half on the road and half on the kerb (by driving up the kerb where the kerb is lowered for diveways etc). thanks
Me, 120mm fine for speed bumps.
I park miles from the kerb tho lol
Also 120 mm … Fine for humps …
Had the council lower the pavement to allow better access to my drive with less of a slope … They did it free of charge !!
The maximum legal height for a speed bump is 100mm so if you rip your splitter off get your camera and tape measure out and sue somebody
Mines around 115/125 and I don’t have any problems with the speed humps at all. I’ve also parked half on and half off the kerbs with no problem by driving up the sloped bit to get up the kerb.
The biggest problem running a low ride is at the bottom of say a multstorey carpark ramp. Even then, if you take it easy all you do is scrape the bottom of the front splitter.

Whats lovering the pavement
thanks for your comments they are v helpful. so basically the car can go over most speed bumps and park half on half off the kerb as long as you take your time
My car is at 110/120 and that make the splitter at 105 and as stated earlier the legal height for speed bumps is a 100mm, I have had no issues so far in 3 years with it that low, I also park the car half on the kerb as well you just need to be careful how you pull up and drop off the kerbs
In my standard S2 I’ve not had any problems going over any sort of speed bumps, you can comfortably go over the 3 individual ones at 30 and the single one across the road at 20
Out of interest what’s the factory set ride height?
Somehow, given my previous experiences with Lotus and VXs, I just knew that was going to be the answer
