Spax Set Up for Exiges S RSX 590

Hello,

Few question from mexico, after a terrible track day.
I just put te spax on the car got alligned and now I am 3 second slower than the original shock and spring.

Could somebody help me with:

  1. Original front and rear weigth (left and rigth if possible) and weigth for the original Lotus Exige S
  2. Sugessted settings and heigth for the Spax, if possible alignment TIPS

    Thanks Andrea

Why would you replace the original suspension with spax?

The lotus sport bilsteins were specifically designed for the car and are a pretty decent damper. Admittedly spring rates are a bit soft for hard track use, but I would suspect, overall on an exige s, they will be far better than spax.

I agree with Andrew’s comment above.

Surely an upgrade from standard is either Ohlins or Nitrons?

Why did you change to Spax and what spring rates have you gone for? The Lotus Sport Ohlins upgrade uses 325 lb front and 425 lb rear. Not sure on the original spring rates.

Some Geo setup information form SELOC is available here

Thanks a lot for the informaion I will try to find the rigth set up otherwise I’ll go back with the original settings,
