Spark model Exige (photos)

I took a trip to London and saw this in a shop window, and as it was even the right colour I bought it.

I got two for Christmas! 1 in in yellow and one in dark grey Just waiting for a laser blue one now…

Anyone know of a 1:18 S1 Exige model ?

Nice one Andy

I’ve seen the Titanium ones, but not a yellow one.

I’ve got the Titanium one. I’ve seen the Yellow one that also looks cool (Probably closer to Saffron Yellow than the “Dark Grey” is to Titanium).

I’ve also seen the Green “Motorsport Elise” variant with the Gold wheels and that looks delicious… just like your dayglo tangelo Pesky! (without the blindness)

Nah mate, Peskys blind for an entirely different reason .

Hi Guys, there are loads of models of the ‘New’ cars out there now. Have a look HERE and HERE for some idea of what is about now. Some of them are really good as well.

I think that looks really smart but are the end plates of the rear wing too big?

No, gawd bless ya! They’re absolutely tiny.

What size is it if you don’t mind me asking? 1:18 or 1:43?

These models of the S1 are 1:43

Which I think would make them about 9cm long?

Just taken delivery of my new Exige.
I got one by mail order, the last one, according to the shop. Thanks, soggster for your help in tracking shop down
Car’s not a bad effort but I had to adjust n/s wing mirror, i.e.:stick mounting arm into hole in door.
And there’s a stickysticky price tag on the Perspex box.
Anyone any idea how to get it off without leaving sticky deposit behind? I’ve used nail varnish remover in the past but tends to scratch whatever you do.

WD-40 is pretty good at removing the glue from sticky labels etc - far less damaging that nail varnish removers which may strip paint and melt plastic!

I’ll try it. Thanks

olive oil is the best solution

AutoArt have been threatening this (black)and also in silver and chrome orange since late 2006. They haven’t had pictures on thier web site until the recently so hopefully it means they will be available for order shortly.
