Ran all but perfectly right up to the last 20 mins of track time when i had a puncture and had to call it a day. Thankfully it happened on one of the slower parts of the track…
Excellent, it is a thirsty track Spa, shame about the puncture, hope it was an old tyre not a new one?

Im not actually sure what happen to the tyre,it went down slowly to start with and the arse end started going all squirmy.
I’m going to investigate it a little better when i get it out of the trailer as it all happened late in the day.
I think the damage you see there is actually done from me limping back to the pits on it from half way round the track and i had a normal puncture to start with, it didnt just let go…
Tyre weld no good for that

Zolder was awesome cheers Gav! First time there and enjoyed it much more than I was expecting, really nice circuit. I think only 2 brief stops from red flags so got plenty of mileage in too. Thanks again for the ride - that car really is something else!
