Spa - important update - the weekend just got better…



Some great news for anyone who’s planning on coming to Spa for the next round of the Elise Trophy, or for those thinking of going if this doesn’t make your mind up…

  • Not only do we have 2 x Elise Trophy races - Sat - 12.00 and Sun - 9.50

  • we have ex-F1 Lotus star Martin Donnelly out in a class B car in the elise trophy after his wins in a class A car at Donington Park.

  • we also have the Elise Trophy leading driver - Chris Randal out in the group C races - Sat - 13.30 and Sun - 12.05 http://www.groupcracing.com/

  • there are also a number of Exiges out in the http://www.supercarchallenge.nl/ races on Sat - 14.25 and Sun - 16.05

we now have an extra endurance race=

  • 20 odd Elise Trophy Elises, Exiges and 340R will be joined by at least 8 SELOC BMW’s in the Heritage Touring car 50 min endurance race at 16.50 on Saturday 13/10 - the selection of cars in this race is superb - http://www.heritagegtcc.co.uk/

  • it’s likely that Randy will share his exige with Martin Donnelly in this race - thats the Elise Trophy’s top driver pairing up with an ex-F1 Lotus driver…

If you ever wanted to go and watch Elises race Sat 13/10 is the day to go and Spa Francorchamps, the best race circuit in the World is the venue.

For those from the UK Eurotunnel crossings can be booked for about �50 return heading out Sat morning and returning Sat evening or Sunday. It’s less than a 3hr drive from Calais to Spa.

As SPA is “only” 2h30m drive from where I live, I’ll pop round on Saturday to see the action.

Chaps, anyone not going on our ferry- i.e. being looked after by Chris Regan aka Wide Lenz - will have to come and find me at Spa for your free race entry tickets. I was going to post them but for obvious reasons will give them out on site.

I’ve printed off two copies of the entry ticket from LoTRDC - basically they are copies of the entrants free entry ticket, but with the Elise Trophy logo in the bottom left-hand corner. Are these not valid, or can I still use them?

That is fine Clive, it is just that I had some tickets printed up at our local printers as well, but they do the same job.
