Spa BaT Aug 2011

Eeek

Great pics, looks awesome. Hope everyone made it safely to the end of the second day with no probs.

That white one looks a bit slow

Thanks for posting the pics Dan :sunglasses:

I’ve got a few more if people would like me to email them pics of their cars (if I have them), have had enough of uploading now though!

What a fantastic set of cans!

Good to see some old faces, and some new ones. Great bunch of people on here and very friendly

Nice to see the faster S1s too  Top guys.

Was a cracking couple of days, as usual great company and fantastic weather (too hot on Tuesday to be honest).
Actually got Jacqui in the passenger seat for some hot laps without her feeling sick, I think she might be hooked now. This is mostly thanks to JF who gave me his old passenger footrest which I put in front of the standard one so she could reach it.
As normal there was a huge mix of cars and abilities but on the most the driving standard was great.
I will put up some pictures once I get them off Jacqui’s phone.

Epic trip with a great bunch of guys!! I am shattered, but it was worth it. I look forward to seeing more pictures of the trip as I didn’t take any myself.

Another great Spa trip, awesome in fact, great to see everyone…big smiles  Ive had to come home early unfortunately. I put my back out just before lunch on the Monday and again Tuesday morning missing half the day. So no Zandvoort for me, gutted :frowning: Ive been carrying the injury for a while now but this is on a whole different level. Big monster thanks to everyone for helping me out, I really mean that…As always on any exiges trip the banter and camaraderie are legendary

Tom and I kept the NA flag flying high competing with the 240, 260 and the 300bhp cars. I havent got any footage of my quickest laps mostly hooning with the other fellas while there is a lap with Sean at the wheel thats well worth seeing lol. My car is cornering beautifully :sunglasses: the lack of weight makes it very nimble indeed. Time lost on the straights is inevitable I suppose but not too bad considering on a well sorted lap anyway. The Kaaz gear set is truly epic. Couldnt tell you much about my intake temps but it does indeed rev to 9k :sunglasses:

VIDEO HERE

Totally fab, guys :sunglasses:

I forgot to add, the BaT team did a great job. Thank you to Mr Leroux and his team. Queuing for the track was non existent and the freebie drinks (and snacks) during the day was most needed in the scorching heat.

Tom you are absolutely right +1

Edit to say, Rob, Will and Peter you were very much missed.

The squealing is not the tyres - it’s Wendy (Toby’s better/faster half )

Got back home from zandvoort this morning. I must say it is a fantastic track and made the week that bit better after having 2 great days at spa. I should say a big thanks to the JSR lads aswell for directing us everywere from Calais to both tracks / hotels and to Rotterdam docks after realising both sat navs we had didn’t work in Europe. We bought a map on the ferry but we may aswell of had a plain piece of paper. Thanks to all involved for making it a great week.
