No, we just call it sause not gravy. 
The obvious choice if a bit cliché these days. I find it a bit hit and miss, people go because it’s Brick Lane so there’s less incentive to please customers. But we’re going for the company more than the food (right? Otherwise I’m suggesting Veeraswamy) so anywhere should suffice.
All these sound like great ideas but finding a date will probably be a tougher nut to crack.
To try and avoid the inevitable seasonal work do’s I’m gonna go early and suggest :
