fast aproaching the desicion on waht colour i want my car painted. for a while i have settled on black but after just buying an a3 ive been reminded how anoying they are to keep clean etc, when they are clean there is no better colour but i dont know if that alone can sell me the colour of black. is there a general colour everyone wants? i like grey but my last 2 projects have ended up that colour so …i dont know. its so hard to think of a colour then shade then metallic/non, satin or even matt? then stripes aaagggghhhhhh…the only thing set in stone is black wheels, any pics welcome along with comments.

aaahhhh yes, krypto green, i wanted to be not so loud to be honest, im also trying to think about the future ie the fact that one day ill sell it and want a “safe” colour. the yellow…i would have my arsed kicked, ive took the piss out of so many yellow cars as i think that a yellow car looks a bit mince, u no, hairdressin etc, no offense just not my bag, the blue is a good call and have looked at many, inc r32, mg and subaru…blues like this were new and big in the mid to late 90s, just like grey has been a hit these past 5 years…i suppose im trying to think what will be next. if i could afford the chrome paint i would have it but at near �500 a liter its a bit pricey. i even thought about some cheap flip paints but those colours are related to tvrs and i think would look a bit chav on the exige, i even found glow in the dark paint which would be cocky, maybe a carki green? white again was a favorite from my friends but after lookin at pics i feel the car looks dated, i felt i was looking for brown tinges where rust could be coming through…poss because of past white cars…escort rs series 1 etc…if i was very brave id copy pesky but im not, also a friend who does vynil offered a full wrap in 3m rellective white or black…i dont know
If you like the flip paints and white, then why not have a look at something similar to the Lotus Ice White (a fine choice if i do say so myself). You escape it looking “Van White” and in the sunlight it looks amazing, but isn’t too loud when the sun goes away.
