oi, that’s a German…this must be marcus…
whilst I might not want it myself…fulls marks for the person that did!!!..interesting to see some different colouts and what it does to the body shape…especially nice to see different wheels.I have been toying with one of the things done - blacking out the rear clam section where the fuel filler is…it really does seem to help the lines of the car where from a certain angle the rear clam looks very bloated…especially if you have blacked out windows - it carries the lines right through.
Steve, I agree, the black on the rear clam looks really good - It was a gloss finish so it kind of matches the boot lid and would really good on yours with the blacked out windows…I personally thought the car was slightly over the top but hey, if he likes it, good for him!T
Wow, that’s a wild paint job…Not my cup of tea… it’s odd, but strangely attractive…
Aaaargh! Bruno! I’m from Munich, not from Saarbruecken. Anyway. My mum once had an Army Jeep with exactly THAT color scheme! Ooooh. Flower power girly she was… BUT (big, capital BUT) I do think a racecar like body like the Exige’s should be coloured adequately. With a pure white Exige, the white rims of that… ahem… mobile blue cloud could even look good! I am thinking of either respraying my (new alloy) Exige completely, giving it the 70s Lambo Miura look (dark gold and matte black) or putting on a blue double stripe (matching the blue interior) lenghthwise. But then… that car already costs me an arm and a leg… so I suppose it will stay as it is for a while!

[image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] You never know, it might look good! [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif[/image]
The “original” was gold and green, was it? [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif[/image] Although it was a DARK green. But I’d rather have a black interior…
Nope! The original Miura green was bright, in your face, Kermit green! [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] However, you would have liked the interiors, most of which were black leather. Miuras are getting more affordable at the moment if you’re interested! [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif[/image]
I really love 'em. But they are oldtimers, nevertheless. A little bit of “today’s hi-tech” should be found in a sportscar that I’m driving around like nuts, don’t you think?! Something like… brakes [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/tongue.gif[/image] I’m quite happy with my Exige…
Paws, I wasn’t suggesting that you traded the Exige, that would be sacrilege! However, there’s nothing to stop you having something for the (less frantic) weekend, Sir! [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] Oh, and BTW, they might be old, but I wouldnt suggest you take one on on a fast sweeping main road, theyre still good for 175 MPH and theyre not too bad in the corners, even today. You might have a point about the brakes though! [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] Sorry, getting off-topic, Ill shut up now…
