I hope SimonE doesn’t mind me cross posting this from Nyloc:

[color:#3333FF]My brother Jon passed away last night, he was just 53 - I know quite a lot of NYLOC members knew him from trackdays so I’ve posted it here, Jon’s son Phil is a NYLOC member and often drives Jon’s 211 on trackdays. I feel rather numb at the moment [/color]

Many of us from exiges.com knew Jon - he & his son Phil were regulars at our trackdays, including Anglesey earlier this month. Jon was a top bloke, & was a true Lotus enthusiast just like his brother.

Thoughts are with Simon, Phil & family at this difficult time.

I’m saddened to read this news Simon. That’s no age at all. My heart felt condolences to you, Phil and respective families. I didn’t ever meet Jon, but clearly the Lotus community is worse off as a result of his passing. If there is anything I can help you with, just say the word.
