The next ones I do would be much simpler, one piece instead of split.
I had intended to make some scoops+ducts+shields to offer as a kit with Nutsmuts disks, but with the house move and other stuff I’m a bit late on that.
E tu dove sei?
well, if you’re intending to change your cooling brake system, pick me for the actual one
mike, sorry for swearing!
so I’ll speak in English…
well Uldis, I live in Riccione, strictly near Rimini, in Romagna (adriatic coast)!
I’m studying Autovehicle Engineering in Turin at the moment (1 year) and I hope to come in UK for a stage in one important car factory… English ones are the best for me!
I’ve been to Riccione and Rimini, and loved it!
Beautiful girls over there!
Hope to see you soon around here, and plan on doing a couple of trackdays when you come.
You sure picked the best car for your career.
I wish everyone going into Automotive engineering would have a car like this, as I feel it can definitely influence you in the kind of handling you’re going to look for in the future.
fine, so if you’ll come here again send me an email and we could meet! I live on viale Ceccarini, the central street of Riccione closed to traffic that it’s full of people in summer… do you remember?
the Exige is still not here, I’m selling my Elise at the moment… maybe I’ll get “her” in may-june (I hope so)
I’m sorry to say that in Autovehicle Engineering I’m a white fly, 'cause most of engineers works for profits and sells, as FIAT gives to italian state the most part of taxes… Ferrari is the only part of the group that use a good and cool philosophy, but it aims to rich (and slow) people that use them most of all to appear
My dream is to create something like Lotus, maybe with more power (even if it implicates more weight), but whit new hard european normatives this seems to be every year more hard. And it will need huge money investiments…
I can’t know what will happen in future, anyway; I just know that I love cars world, especially SPORT-cars world, and I want to understant it clearly… so I study it, that’s the unique course in all Italy (the alternative is Mechanical Engineering)
I’m a little older but surely have my ideas too.
I feel that Lotus is going the comercialization way, which is good if they keep on doing real sports cars. Hope they don’t just sell their soul.
I would like to do a sports car back to Chapman’s idea, with a max of 600Kg and a small engine. Much along the lines of what bike manufacturers are doing. Losing weight whilst gaining rigidity.
With a view of using later a fuel cell.
But that’s a long term plan. I have my homework to do first.
And don’t worry about the brake shields, I’ll have a set for you. But first get the car, so you can tell me which disks you’re going to be using.
Especially those who are going to hold academic qualifications in motorsport, will end up working for top motorsport teams and will always remember their old Exige buddies!
But hey, even if you end up an Accountant we’ll still like you.
