I’m all for the Lotus paradigm of more power, less weight… but have you felt how heavy the fuel filler cap is ?It weighs a bloody ton ! Feels like 1 kilo on it’s own !I reckon they’d be a good market for carbon fibre replacements !

Never really liked the fuel filler cap and the lock is so naff and fiddly…would much prefer a flush mounted cap ala motorcycle norm but this is not possible i think with the recess.

Surely just losing a few kilos would negate the weight of the fuel filler cap?IE - go on a diet, David ;o)
