Anybody taken the Exige out in the snowy conditions?
How are you finding it?

Can’t find it - its parked somewhere outside under 300mm blanket of snow
My cars been outside at the parents for the last few weeks so I drove it on sunday to put in a garage until the the weather is better…
Was interesting drive to say the least, but great fun!!! They are terrible cars in the snow, the splitter acts as a snow plow and the traction on the rear is terrible - but the power slides more than make up for it
Did the same journey last year in the snow with A048s on, and it was just dangerous. Much better with Kumhos on!
Dunno, is it snowing in Dudley
I went out for a blast on Monday, was just cold rather than snowy. Still a bit skittish, so needed to be careful.
It certainly is Jonny boy
i took the exige out today, no problems in cheltenham
I have had to use mine a few times this week, its not too bad on the Kumho’s, worst part is getting out of my street after that am fine, just taking it really slowly.
I hope this snow clears in the next couple of weeks as I’m meant to be taking my car up to Lotus (95 mile trip for me)
I’ve gotta drive from Wilmslow to London at the weekend, hoping that if I stay west on the M54 M6 M42 M40 route I’ll be fine.
Lot looking forward to it though with A048s
Quite a few guys trying to still do trackdays
RMA day at SS due today - bet that gets cancelled
Oulton, SS & Donny days on Friday this week - should be interesting - glad I didn’t book now !!!
Only driven on 48’s in the snow once. I was driving back from a LOT race at Brands in April and the snow started settling on the M25. Let’s just say I was in the driving seat but I was a passenger…not fun and not advised.
Doh, ok will have to look into it on the day
Were you sitting on the passenger seat, because you had left your drivers window open and your drivers seat was COMPLELTLY soaked?!?!
Oh no, that was a different day wasnt it.
hahaha

I’m just glad that at least my pax seat stayed dry because I’d managed not to jettison my roof like you had…oh no that was a different day wasn’t it
PMSL @ Sean
Daren’t take the Exige out but I did take out my V12 XJS which just went round in bloody circles for the time that it was out.
Just bough an old XJR Supercharged (cheap) that I’ve not yet got but that’d probably be the same I guess!
Mark
hahahaha
I can vouch for the traction control on my S2, tried a little bit of acceleration in my deserted works car park, it cuts in almost instantly and really does help keep you in a straight line, was quite impressed with it.
